About me

My name is Stela Barreto ,I am portuguese ,  I am 69 years old and I started studding Arts and painting with 13 years old and  my professional career with my 21  years old as a teacher and with 29 years old like a professional artist; I have  worked as an art teacher and painter, making exhibitions of wattercolours in different cyties in Portugal. With 34 years old   I began working with oil and after  with acrylic.

I had different art teachers, big artists , that helped me to find my one expression . I painted different styles until I prefered to paint abstract.
I made lot of exhibitions all over the world,  received lot of prizes and today I work with different galleries in Algarve,  where I live, Lisbon, Porto  and Helsínquia.  I sell on line and in my studio too ( Atelier 34- see it in Facebook)  in Portimão. Here in Atelier 34  I may do an attencion on my prices for  those who wish to come and visit me!
